Excursion information
In the southeast of the island of Tenerife you will find the Ethnographic Park of Pyramids of Güímar. It is built around six stepped pyramids that exist in this region, approximately four meters high and whose origins are still unclear. In the museum visitors can see other pyramids in the world built by ancient civilizations. Vessels used by these cultures also have their place as the main driver of this park was the explorer Thor Heyerdahl, known for his maritime expeditions.
The gardens of the park are another attraction: can be visited through different thematic trails, including a Secret Garden, which brings together more than 70 toxic plant species worldwide.
